Scope of application
Similar to copper, zinc is predominantly used in the building industry. Primarily in the use of zinc sheets for roofing. The term zinc is often used in connection with hot-dip galvanising. In hot-dip galvanising, a zinc coating is applied to steel parts by dipping them in molten zinc. The result is a rust-free and corrosion-resistant construction element. Furthermore, zinc is often used in architecture, automobile production and mechanical engineering. The most important properties of zinc are:
Properties of titanium zinc
Nonmagnetic | Suitable for the electrical industry |
Good formability | For special moulded parts |
Corrosion-resistant | Demanding areas of application |
Weather-proof | For outdoor applications |
Durable | Durable components |
Up to 100% recyclable | Sustainable |
